NOx emission and thermal performances studies on premixed ammonia-oxygen combustion in a CO2-free micro-planar combustor

•The OWMT varies non-monotonically with increasing the equivalence ratio.•NO emission is shown to be highly dependent on the equivalence ratio.•Inlet temperature plays different roles in thermal and NOx emission performances.•Decreased NO generation and increased OWMT are achieved with the inlet pressure varied.
