Abstract
Because of short running time, Mach number high precision controlling in intermittent high speed wind tunnel is very difficult. In order to improve Mach number control level based on multi-variables control system of 2.4m Transonic Wind Tunnel, filter frequency improvement of total & static pressure, optimization of PID control parameter, up-feed compensation of plenum exhaust system have done. With such investigations and relate works, Mach number control level in 2.4m Transonic Wind Tunnel have improved from vertical bar Delta Mu vertical bar <= 0.005 to vertical bar Delta Mu vertical bar <= 0.002.
