Risk Assessment for Chytridiomycosis Importing by Amphibians Tradefrom Japan to China

Chytridiomycosis is one of the important infectious diseases of amphibians around the world, and the risk of chytrid fungus' spread is extremely high. Under the condition of the findings of the chytrid fungus in Japan, it became important to confirm the risk that our country, which is the largest trading partners of Japan, is facing to about the chytrid fungus from Japan. The analysis was conducted according to the industry standard of the entry-exit inspection and quarantine of the People's Republic of China, using the release contact assessment, exposure assessment and consequence assessment to reach the results of output of risk and the possibility of chytrid fungus engraftment and transmission of Japan chytidiomycosis to China. The result showed that the output risk and the possibility of chytrid fungus engraftment and transmission of Japan chytridiomycosis are both on the "high" level. The chytridiomycosis output risk is high from Japan to our country by amphibian trade and the engraftment and the spread of chytrid fungus in China after introduction is high too.
