Abstract
The NiB amorphous alloy (NiB-DC or NiB-AC) was prepared under adjustable magnetic field and exhibited a high activity in hydrogenation of p-chloronitrobenzene, especially under Alternating Current (AC) magnetic field. The active center metallic Ni could migrate to the surface of alloy and was enriched easily under magnetic field. The particle size of NiB amorphous alloy prepared under AC magnetic field is small and uniform, which brings a better activity of catalyst. In addition, the nature of NiB amorphous alloy structure was not changed under magnetic field.
