Underground space development suitability evaluation on spring protection

With the continuous expansion of Jinan City, the suitability of the underground space development gets more and more attention. This paper analyzed the major elements affecting the Jinan City underground space development suitability. We used analytic hierarchy process, from the natural and geographical conditions, hydrogeological conditions, engineering geological conditions and human engineering activities in four aspects as the theme layer to build a hierarchical model. We determined the secondary evaluation index weight, which showed that: the minimum depth of the karstic water-level, the fracture-karst water abundance, and the terrain slope are the main influence factors. Combined with zoning evaluation results, the evaluation index system was constructed in line with the site situation in Jinan City.
