摘要
•Data show that antennal lobe (AL) cells respond to olfactory and mechanical input.•Responses to mechanosensory input tend to be brief and temporally precise.•We develop a biophysical model of the moth AL incorporating both sensory signals.•Model dynamics realistically capture the multisensory response patterns of AL cells.•We predict mechanical input raises response precision but reduces odor discrimination.
