Korean Activity On Software Modularity For Service Robots

摘要
Many robot software platforms have been developed for more than a decade. In Korea, the OPRoS project started to develop an open source robot software platform in 2007. After five years of fundamental development, including framework, tools and example components, there are post OPRoS activities. This paper introduces those activities, such as demonstrating component reusability with service robot manufacturers and the unfolding development of the connection of OPRoS components and non-OPRoS programs. Also, this paper will discuss the voice of developers about component based robot software.
