Abstract
A cheap and practical alternative to plastic scintillating tracker for large surface detectors is developed. Large scale prototype was built and tested, showing high performance, good reliability and outstanding ease of production and handling. The worked out technology ensure low cost and high uniformity production of tracker modules, based on commercially available components.
