Preparation and characterization of novel diatomite/ground calcium carbonate composite humidity control material

Diatomite/ground calcium carbonate composite humidity control materials were prepared by calcination using diatomite and GCC as raw materials. DG750 with more mesoporous structure, hydrophilic calcium hydroxide, calcium oxide and calcium silicate exhibited better moisture adsorption ability.
