Robust immobilized enzyme reactor based on trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate organic monolithic matrix through “thiol-ene” click reaction

•Trypsin-IMERs based on TRIM originic monolith matrix were developed.•Trypsin was immobilized on TRIM with residual double bonds by “thiol-ene” click reaction.•Standard protein-pepide coverage were comparable to in-solution digestion or other IMERs.•Potential of IMERs was demonstrated by digesting egg white and mouse liver extracts.
