Application of Polarized Microscope Observation and X-Ray Diffraction Analysis in Durability Management Evaluation of Building Engineering

The progress of society has promoted the vigorous development of the construction industry. At the same time, it has put forward higher requirements for the quality of structural engineering of the construction industry. Its safety and stability has become a common concern. Therefore, in order to improve the quality of construction projects, it is necessary to carry out construction quality management, improve construction technology, and ensure reliable safety and durability. Based on the above background, the purpose of this paper is to observe the durability of building engineering by polarized light microscopy and X-ray diffraction analysis. In this paper, concrete is regarded as a kind of artificial rock, and the rock ore test method is used to systematically study concrete and apply it to construction engineering. In structural durability evaluation, as a complement to physical and structural verification, it is a new attempt. In this paper, the phase and mineral composition of concrete were analyzed by means of polarized light microscopy and X-ray diffraction analysis. It was observed by a parallax microscope that the cement particle size of the higher temperature zone was increased by 0.04 mm compared with the low temperature zone by X-ray diffraction. It can also be seen from the analysis that in most of the higher temperature zones, the content of calcite and the lower C/C2S temperature range tend to increase. It is a new attempt to analyze the phase composition of concrete by means of polarized light microscopy and X-ray diffraction analysis. However, the comprehensive observation results are checked by parameters, and finally the durability of the building project can be obtained.
