Abstract
This research was in order to study the effect of Tetramethylprazine on inducing Hepatocellular carcinoma cells' apoptosis and to explore the possible mechanism. We analysed the proliferation ability of HepG2 cells by CCK-8 firstly. Then, we checked the caspase3 protein and other possible signal molecules changes. We found that the HepG2 cells be suppressed by Tetramethylprazine as concentration dependence manner At meantime, the caspase3 expression in HepG2 cells treated with Tetramethylprazine was increased, and the PI3K/Akt pathway was inhibited. These findings suggested that Tetramethylprazine provoted the HCC cells' apoptosis through the PI3K/Akt/caspase3 pathway, provided a new insight into Tetramethylprazine which might be a potential molecular target for diagnosis and treatment of HCC.
