Point-of-Care Echocardiography: A Useful Tool for Assessing Complex Arrhythmias in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit

•Complex arrhythmias are frequent following pediatric cardiac surgery.•Electrophysiology test is not a bedside tool and cannot be always available.•M-mode and Doppler mitral inflow scanning allow to assess cardiac asynchrony.•Point-of-care ultrasonography helps to identify and diagnose complex arrhythmias.•Bedside ultrasonography improves the management of pediatric complex arrhythmias.
