El derecho a la salud en tiempos de pandemia en Colombia: entre la inequidad endémica y el estado de emergencia

The SARS-Cov-2 pandemic has triggered a global crisis in the health, political and socio-economic spheres that has forced the adaptation of the ethical and regulatory budgets necessary to face conflicts of values and the guarantee of individual and collective rights in the context of the crisis. The right to health and social security is one of the fundamental rights to preserve, being access to advanced life support, in circumstances of scarce resources in the face of the growing demand generated by the pandemic, one of the main focuses of debate. This article presents the analysis and study of the bioethical principles related to the distribution of resources, as well as the adjustments in the Colombian regulatory framework and the guarantees in social security in health that allow facing the challenges that the sanitary emergency demands in the country.
