Impact of Treatment Intensification According to Patient Prognosis: A Pooled Analysis of 3 Randomized Phase III Trials

Curable hematologic tumors but not multiple myeloma (MM) benefit from risk-adapted therapy. Intensified treatments such as autologous stem cell transplantation (ASCT) and continuous therapy (CT) improve patients (pts) outcome. A better evaluation of pts prognosis based on the revised international staging system (R-ISS) is now available. We evaluated the impact of ASCT and CT in pts with different baseline prognosis.
