摘要
•A novel tilmicosin formulation (TEST) was prepared utilizing hot-melt extrusion.•TEST exhibited a better taste masking effect than Pulmotil® and Tilexin.•TEST had a higher oral bioavailability than Tilexin.•This study provides a potential new formulation of tilmicosin for clinical use.
