Comparative assessment of the effects of bumped kinase inhibitors on early zebrafish embryo development and pregnancy in mice
International Journal of Antimicrobial Agents(2020)
摘要
•Bumped kinase inhibitors (BKIs) prevent vertical transmission of Neospora caninum.•A zebrafish embryo development assay was established to assess direct embryotoxicity of BKIs.•BKIs that induce toxic effects in zebrafish at low concentration also affect pregnancy.•The zebrafish assay is cost effective, less time consuming, and can reduce animal use.
