Abstract
The emergence of the online health community and health information exchange has brought the rise in privacy concerns, especially when personal health information is perceived as being more sensitive than other types of information. Hence, understanding privacy concerns and disclosing behavior in the context of the health information community has become crucial for both online platforms and their members. This study conducts a semi-systematic review of health information privacy studies to interpret how and what motivates individuals to disclose personal health information in the online community. This study also provides implications and sets the basic foundation for future researches on health information disclosure.
