摘要
•EOP showed decreased 1α,25-(OH)2-D plasma levels and placental nuclear vitamin D receptor (VDR) protein levels.•LOP showed decreased 25-OH-D levels, placental 25-hydroxylase CYP2R1, and transporter cubulin expression.•Preeclampsia endogenous dysregulation was a significant determinant of 1α,25-(OH)2-D levels in early-onset pregnancies.•Maternal BMI was a significant determinant of 25-OH-D levels in late-onset pregnancies.
