Design and synthesis of novel 1,3,4-oxadiazole and 1,2,4-triazolo[3,4- b]1,3,4-thiadiazole derivatives and their antimicrobial studies

Design and synthesis of a series of 2,4-dinitro phenyl ring containing 1,3,4-oxadiazole and 1,2,4-triazolo[3,4b]1,3,4-thiadiazole derivatives. All of the compounds were characterized well by spectroscopy analysis ( 1 H-NMR, 13 C-NMR, FT-IR and LC-MS) and they were evaluated for their antimicrobial activity against four bacterial and three fungal strains using paper disc diffusion technique.
