Web-based asynchronous role playing game ( rpg ) for education and training in disaster medicine

In a Disaster, one of the most difficult challenge is to realize that our own point of view is not the only one and that our decisions could have consequences on several sub-systems (rescue, firefighting, law enforcement, etc.) expected to interact in such a scenario. Medical Simulations can contribute to training students as well as professionals without putting patient at risk. In this paper we describe our Web-based asynchronous Role Playing Game platform devoted to students’ education in natural and human induced disasters.
