A Study of Electric Vehicle Data Analytics

In recent times, the scientific community has massive amounts of raw data as a result of various experiments. The proliferation of data everyday poses a significant challenge in its accumulation, integration and management. Researchers are working towards harvesting such data for extracting useful information. Such an effort needs an enriched data repository system that can help users store and analyze information. The focus of this paper is primarily on identifying different methods of data analytics that can be performed on electric vehicle (EV) datasets for harvesting information. This information can help researchers understand the usage trends of various internal components in an EV and the effect of driver behavior on their performance. In spite of all the involved complexities, the main goal of this study is to demonstrate the benefits of EV data analytics and recommend a system for facilitating it.
