The “High Acceptance DiElectron Spectrometer” (HADES) at G SI, Darmstadt, is investigating the production ofee pairs inA + A, p + A andN + N collisions. The latter program allows for the reconstruction of individual sources. This str ategy will be roughly outlined in this contribution and preliminarypp/pn data is shown.
