Re: February Special Issue on Aesthetic Scales

I have read with interest the articles on global and regional scales presented in Dermatologic Surgery and would like to bring to the attention of the authors and the sponsoring company, Merz, a number of salient points. The impression is given in this series of articles that scales incorporated into regions for the purpose of analysis of age or severity of changes is a novel concept. This is not the case.
