Abstract
Background and aims: Microwave ablation (MWA) under different imaging gu idance is a new technique for treating liver malignancies. In this study, we wanted to fi nd out whether the use of contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) would provide better assessment o f the ablation zone in an ex vivo perfused porcine liver model.
