Supplemental Materials: Heterogeneity in Nucleosome Spacing Governs Chromatin Elasticity

Here, we provide a detailed derivation of the Green’s function for a wormlike chain (WLC) with aperiodic defects, along with various checks to ensure the accuracy of our numerical schemes. First, we review some useful mathematical facts about rotations. We then provide a step-by-step derivation of the theory and a description of the numerical methods employed to perform the computations.
