摘要
Introduction The Tanzanian economy largely depends on agriculture (IFAD 2014). Agricultural sector itself contributes more than 25% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), provides 85% of exports, and employs 80% of the work force (IFAD 2014). Although Cereals, especially maize and sorghum are the most important field crops grown in Africa by commercial and resource-poor small-scale farmers, economically cash crops are the leading source of country’s foreign total earnings (Kfir et al., 2002).
