Method From January 2014 to December 2016, 100 elderly patients with delirium after non-cardiac surgery in Shandong Provincial Hospital Affiliated to Shandong University were included in delirium group, 108 patients without delirium were included in non-delirium group, and the serum BChE activity in the two groups was detected. BChE gene K variant was detected by PCR and direct sequencing method. At the same time, the relationship between BChE genotypes and activities was analyzed. Result Delirium group patients had lower BChE activity than non-delirium group patients (P < 0.05). Genotype distributions and allele frequencies of BCHE gene didn't different between the two groups (P > 0.05). There was no significant difference in the activity of BChE between different genotypes (P > 0.05). Conclusion BCHE gene K variant is not associated with susceptibility to postoperative delirium in elderly patients. 【Key words】 Butyrocholinesterase; Gene polymorphism; Postoperative delirium 丁酰胆碱酯酶基因 K 变异与老年非心脏手术术后 谵妄的相关性研究
