We reported a novel detection method named accelerated strand exchange amplification by employingBstDNA polymerase and narrow-thermal-cycling for the first time, achieving direct detection of 120 copies of DNA within 15 min and 1.2 x 10(5)copies of RNA within 20 min and sparking the revolution of the use of routine isothermal polymerases for diverse applications.
