摘要
•Mandelic acid-triethylene tetraamine -Eu3+ forms Stimuli responsive WLE hydrogel.•Increasing Eu3+, PL intensity of MA–TETA decreases ,indicating energy transfer.•Exciting at 330 nm(0.34, 0 33) MA-TETA - Eu3+ gel emits white light, QY 11.4%.•Froster distance 1.7 Å for complex formation in hydrogel but in sol no white light.•Xerogel emit white light and WLE hydrogel has Correlated colour temperature 5148 K.
