Increased triazole-resistance and cyp51A mutations in Aspergillus fumigatus after selection with a combination of the triazole fungicides difenoconazole and propiconazole.

•Hygromycin resistance labeled A. fumigatus (P3) was used in this study.•Higher resistance was induced by the formulated fungicides than their standards.•Higher resistance was induced by the combination of fungicides than individuals.•Four novel mutations were detected in induced resistant strains.
