摘要
Rationale. previously identified iron-responsive element binding protein 2 ( or as a leading candidate COPD susceptibility gene based on IRP2 IREB2) genome-wide association studies (GWAS), and we demonstrated that IRP2 protein is increased in the lungs of COPD patients (DeMeo et al.). is located within a cluster of genes on chromosome 15q25, which includes several components of the nicotinic acetylcholine 2009 IRP2 receptor and has been associated with lung cancer, peripheral arterial disease and nicotine addiction in GWAS. In this study we sought to delineate the function of in the pathogenesis of CS-induced COPD. IRP2
