Communication realization of situation awareness method in microgrid CPS system based on EtherCat

In order to realize the integration of information flow and power flow in microgrid, the microgrid information physical fusion system (CPS) emerges as the times. Because of the frequent switching between the grid and the isolated island, the problems about real-time and reliability of communication are prominent in the microgrid. Based on the microgrid information physical fusion system, the Ethercat bus is used to reconstruct the communication network in the distributed generation (DG) system which meets the IEC 61850-90-7 standard. A new communication realization scheme of situation awareness for microgrid is proposed. Firstly, all the intelligent electronic devices use master-slave communication mode, then upgrade the microgrid communication system according to the special the state machine of Ethercat. Finally, in order to ensure the real-time and reliability of the situation awareness process in microgrid CPS system, the communication process of advanced inverter control strategy using Ethercat technology is completed in combination with IEC 61850-90-7 standard.
