Transmission Network Planning Considering Different Functional Attributes of Power Grid

With the continuous expansion of the scale in the power grid, the attributes and functional forms of the power grid become more diverse and the impact of different functional attributes on the grid structure, security and reliability requirements are different. Given the characteristics and development of the current power grid, four functional attributes, namely, new energy consumption, load center power supply, hydropower delivery, and channel interconnection, are proposed to reflect the basic morphological characteristics of the power grid in this paper. Firstly, the k-means++ clustering algorithm is used to construct different scenarios of new energy and load. Then, the transmission network planning model considering different functional attributes of the power grid is proposed. The effectiveness of the proposed transmission network planning model is verified by the simulation of modified IEEE-18 node examples in MATLAB and PSD-BPA.
