摘要
•Ni2P/Co2P electrocatalysts with outstanding oxygen evolution and hydrogen evolution activity have been developed.•Stacking faults abundant Ni2P/Co2P promotes the lattice expansion of Co2P and facilitates reactants adsorption.•Electrolysis cell with Ni2P/Co2P as catalysts delivers comparable performance to Pt/C and IrO2 counterparts.•The dissolution and redeposition mechanisms are effective in modulating the structure and activity of electrocatalysts.
