摘要

•CdSe/CdTe Type-II quantum dots were synthesized using dropwise method.•A comprehensive NLO measurements are presented using open and closed aperture.•Efficient approach to determine nonlinear properties of CdSe/CdTe core/shell QDs.•The imaginary and real parts of third order susceptibilities were calculated QDs.
