Abstract
•We achieved ultra-small Pd nanoparticles anchored on PVP-PS support via polyol method.•Pd/PVP-PS showed the remarkable catalytic activity towards the conversion of toxic 4-nitrophenol to 4-aminophenol under the ambient conditions.•The Pd/PVP-PS nanocatalyst was recycled with minimal loss of its catalytic activity.
