Abstract
•A low-temperature, mesoporous TiO2 film was prepared from additive-free dispersion.•The infiltration of perovskite was optimized by tuning the solution chemistry.•Mesoscopic PSCs with a 480 nm TiO2 layer with efficiency of 14–16% were achieved.•The implementation of the mesoporous TiO2 film enhances the solar cell lifetime.•Hysteresis and low frequency EIS spectrum correlate degradation with ionic movement.
