A Fluorescent Probe for Hydrazine Based on Synergistic Effect and Its Utilization in Cell Imaging

Hydrazine is an important raw material and catalyst in chemical industry. However, hydrazine is very harmful to human organs. A new type of probe was developed based on the synergistic effect. Two recognition sites were introduced into the probe to improve performance to hydrazine, which has good specificity to hydrazine. The limit of detection (LOD) for N2H4 was 0.05 similar to 10.0 mu mol.L-1. Moreover, the probe could detect N2H4 in BT-474 cells.
