摘要
Zn-2Al alloy is used as a filler metal for brazing of aluminium 6063 alloys by ultrasonic-assisted resistance brazing (RB) technology. The evolution of the microstructure and phase composition under the effects of the electric field and ultrasonic vibration were studied. The results show that ultrasonic cavitation can remove the existing oxide films effectively and inhibit element segregation, which help obtain joints with good metallurgical bonding. In comparison to RB joints, which exhibit a coarse dendritic structure, a uniform dendritic structure was obtained in the ultrasonic-assisted resistance joints. Furthermore, the combined electric and ultrasonic field has a significant effect on grain size and on dissolution during brazing. With the application of ultrasonic vibration, the diffusion between the base metal and the Zn-2Al filler metal intensifies.
