41.8 W output power, 200 kHz repetition rate ultra-fast laser based on Yb:YAG single crystal fiber(SCF)amplifier

•A stable laser output power of 61.8 W at 200 kHz repetition rate was obtained based on SCF amplifier.•A rms of 2.8% was obtained with 62.35 W average power measured for two hours.•M2 values are 1.241 in the horizontal and 1.186 in the vertical direction with 65.4 W output power.•The CPA system can output power of 41.8 W with 1.5 ps pulse duration.•An output power of 50 W with sub-ps pulse duration is expected to be obtained with optimization.
