Abstract
In addition to its uses in wireless Communication and Radar systems, Microwaves have been proposed for Radiative Wireless Power Transfer (RWPT). Many systems were designed for microwave wireless power transfer (MWPT) between earth and space, in space and on earth. However, a little effort was spent on developing a Multiple-Input-Multiple-Output (MIMO) system for MWPT, where this method is typically used for High-Speed Data Transmission. In this paper we present configurations that can be used in such a system, MIMO-MWPT. Simplified models of these configurations were built and tested using function generators, horn and conical antennas and a spectrum analyzer. One MIMO-MWPT configuration was proved to be effective and more efficient than typical MWPT systems. Another one was suggested for mobile devices.
