Abstract
Diabetic nephropathy(DN) is a significant cause of chronic kidney disease and end-stage renal failure. It is also the cause of several acute and chronic complications with significant morbidity. The purpose of our study was to determine the complications that can occur to patients with diabetic nephropathy. It was a retrospective, descriptive study, including 320 patients with a DN and followed in department of nephrology insahloul hospital of sousseTunisia from January 2007 until June 2018. Among the 320 patients with diabetic nephropathy, the number of diabetic type 2 was significantly higher than type1 :respectively 80.3% of cases (257 cases) and 19.7% of cases (63 cases).
