摘要
Optical Airy beam, exhibiting a novel non-diffracting and self-accelerating phenomena, because of its novel physics, is a potential candidate for exiting applications. In this paper, a novel method for optical pulling is proposed using airy beam as the light source. It has been showed that plasmonic dual structures such as Ag-Au core-shell immersed in dielectric medium such as water, experience a net negative force i.e optically pulled in the direction of input vector airy beam for a broader range of visible wavelengths. This pulling force can be also seen for homogenous Ag and Au particles as well as their hollow structures. Thus, using Finite Element Method (FEM) analysis, an all-around net negative force is observed with potential applications in the field of optical tweezers, particle manipulation, rotation as well as optically engineered metamaterials.
