摘要
•The failure mode of the RSCCFST columns under axial compression was found.•The effects of several important parameters on the bearing capacity, deformation, stiffness and stress–strain relationship were revealed.•The models for estimating the bearing capacity, ultimate strain, stiffness and stress–strain relationship were proposed, respectively.•The model and existing specifications for estimating the bearing capacity were evaluated.•The comparison between the experimental data and model calculated results were made.
