Abstract
The treatment of choice in patients with cancer of nasopharynx (NPC) is conventionally fractionated radiotherapy (CFRT) combined with chemotherapy (CHT), especially given in simultaneous matter. Results of many trials conducted in patients (pts) with head and neck cancer show that accelerated radiotherapy (AFRT) improves survival parameters. The objective of this presentation is to report survival outcomes and treatment toxicity in patients with NPC treated with AFRT compared with CFRT as part of phase II clinical trial.
