Implementation of AODV-UU on Linux 4.15 Kernel

Among several implementations of the AODV protocol, AODV-UU is the most stable one as open source. Thus, AODV-UU has been well referred by many implementations for reactive routing protocols and testbeds. However, because current available source code was initially implemented on old Linux kernel 2.6 and then extended on 3.8, it is not compatible with recent kernel version. To defeat this issue, in this paper, we present the implementation of AODV-UU on the recent Linux 4.15 kernel and validate the operation in a simple scenario.
