摘要
As an application of intelligent transportation system (ITS), vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs) have become more and more popular in both academia and industry because its superiority in improving traffic conditions. However, the character of VANETs makes vehicular communications in wireless environment vulnerable to adversaries. Accordingly, determining the reliability of a received message is a difficult issue. In this paper, we propose a message-oriented message dissemination and authentication scheme to ensure the reliability and security of messages. With threshold signature technology, road-side units (RSUs) can collect partial signatures, generate complete signature and broadcast messages to vehicles. Then on-board units (OBUs) can authenticate the messages and achieve traffic situations. The solution can increase the efficiency of vehicular communications by strengthening the reliability of messages broadcasting in VANETs.
