Visual Diagnosis: Term Newborn with Peeling Erythematous Rash.

A term male infant is seen with a peeling erythematous rash at birth. ### Prenatal and Birth Histories ### Family History ### Presentation after Birth Diffuse erythroderma with desquamative scales on face, trunk, and extremities but no mucosal lesions were noted immediately at birth. The skin was abnormal with generalized erythematous and peeling appearance. He was transferred to a level IV NICU shortly after birth because of concerning appearance of the rash. ### Vital Signs ### Physical Examination
