Co(Ii) And Cu(Ii) Coordination Polymers: Crystal Structures And Treatment Effect On Acute Lung Injury By Inhibiting Inflammatory Response

By using a bifunctional organic ligand 4,4 '-(1 H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)methylene-bis(benzonic acid) (H(2)tmb) which features both triazol and carboxylate groups, two new coordination polymers (CPs) {[Co(tmb)](H(2)tmb]center dot(C2H5OH)(0.5)(H2O)(2.5)}(n) (1) and [Cu(tmb)](n) (2) have been successfully prepared using a solvothermal method by reaction of metal salts with the H(2)tmb in different solvent systems. The two complexes have been characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, elemental analysis (EA), IR spectrum analysis (IR), powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), and thermogravimetric (TG) analysis. In addition, the protective effect of complexes 1 and 2 on the acute lung injury was evaluated and the specific mechanism was explored. Firstly, the release level of the inflammatory cytokines was measured with enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) detection kit. Next, the blood gas analysis was conducted to detect the PaO2 and the PaCO2 on acute lung injury model.
